Eligibility

The purchase of products from The Steel Smith is limited to parties who can legally enter into and form contracts in accordance with Australian law. Customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information. When providing payment details, customers must warrant that the payment details provided are theirs and are both valid and correct.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include a 10% allowance for GST. We reserve the right to change
our prices at any time.

We accept payment through PayPal.
Goods will be shipped upon full payment being received by us.
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol with an encryption key length that is currently the highest level commercially available.
You do not need to have a PayPal account to buy with us through PayPal.

For buyers using PayPal for the first time, signing up for a PayPal account is now optional. This means our customers can complete their payments first, and then decide whether to save their information, creating a PayPal account for future purchases.
The PayPal check out works as follows:

1. Customers enter their name and their shipping address.
2. Customers are prompted for their credit card, email address, and phone number.
3. After reviewing their information, customers may choose to save their information by creating a PayPal account to make future transactions faster (this step is optional.)

PayPal’s fraud prevention measures remain in effect for buyers who use this checkout even though the customer hasn’t created an account.

Returns

If, for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the merchandise to us for a full refund less shipping costs.

You must notify us of your intention to return the merchandise (see below methods) within 7 working days of receipt of it and return the goods to us within 14 working days to be eligible. Merchandise that is returned must be unused.  We will not refund outside these terms except where we are required to by law.

To notify us of your intention to return, please email us at sales@thesteelsmith.com.au and state the item and purchase details.  Please indicate whether you would like refund or exchange.

If the item is defective we will pay for return shipping and offer either a replacement or a refund.

Our newsletter

By placing an order with The Steel Smith you have given us the authority to contact you in the future with promotional emails, sales offers and new product updates. If you do not want to continue to receive our newsletter you can opt out at any time.
